In their debut album, On the Other Side of the Danube, the two musicians take you on a musical journey around the globe. Both come from musical families, were taught as children by their fathers, and are now united by their boundless passion for all forms of music.
Their compositions dissolve musical borders while honoring Balkan, Eastern European, Klezmer, Tango, Latin American, Western European, classical, and jazz traditions, with complete disregard for “the rules” and fearless improvisation. Nothing is taboo, and nothing is sacrilegious.
