Academy Registration

The Academy of the Austrian Jazz Awards consists of a network of professionals who are active in various areas of the jazz, improvisation and world music scene in Austria. These include journalists, event organisers, musicians, teachers, label owners, producers, bookers and sound engineers. All experts are invited to participate in the nomination process and contribute their valuable expertise. From 1st to 15th of September, Academy members will have the opportunity to award points in the three categories 'Best Live Act', 'Best Album' and 'Best Newcomer'. Each member can rate three projects with 3 points, 2 points or 1 point. The ten projects with the highest total score in each category will finally be nominated for the Austrian Jazz Awards 2024. Please note that the application deadline for membership in the Academy has already expired and participation is no longer possible this year.
