Academy Registration

If you are professionally active in any form in the style field of jazz/improvised music/world music in Austria – as a journalist, as an organizer, as a musician, as a teacher, as a label owner/producer, as a booker, as a sound engineer, etc. – we invite you to participate in the nomination process and contribute your expertise. They will then have the opportunity to nominate 5 projects in each of the three categories "Best Live Act", "Best Album" and "Best Newcomer" from 1st to 15th of September 2025. The ten projects with the most nominations in each category will be nominated for the Austrian Jazz Award 2025 and announced on 22.09.2025. You also have the opportunity to encourage musicians or music projects to participate (submission deadline: August 25th, 2025) You will be notified as soon as possible of your admission to the 'Academy' (the nominating panel of experts) of the Austrian Jazz Award 2025.
