Austrian Jazz Award 2025: Nominees Announced!
The Jazz Award Academy, consisting of 149 experts, has selected a total of 30 nominees from 174 submissions in the categories Best Live Act, Best Album and Best Newcomer.
The annual Jazz Award – an initiative by the Austrian Music Council (ÖMR), mica – music austria, IG world music, Ö1, and Porgy & Bess– serves as an important platform to highlight and promote Austria’s vibrant jazz and global music scene.
For 2025, the Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media, and Sports, the Province of Carinthia, the KELAG Private Foundation, the Carinthian Association of the Film and Music Industry, as well as the Jam Music Lab Private University, have been secured as supporting partners. Media partners include Ö1, ORF, and Concerto magazine.
