Cholesterin

Cholesterin is an improvisation collective based in Linz with deep roots in jazz. The lineup ranges from a duo to a sextet and frequently invites artists from the Austrian scene—both renowned and up-and-coming—to perform as guest features. The project seeks to bridge various musical scenes, bringing together a wide spectrum of styles—from noise to minimalism—under one roof, depending on the specific lineup. At its core, the group explores contemporary concert practices as well as the interplay between analog and digital processes during their performances.
