When a note is played on the steel strings of an open-tuned acoustic guitar, a whole world of overtones from neighbouring strings opens up. Improvisations are born out of this world, manifested in compositions later on. Then the guitar offers everything an arrangement needs: atmosphere, melody, groove, bass, friction, drama, beauty…and a ray of light in the end.
