Radio FS2 – an ode to cultural radio broadcasts à la Ö1 – the first co-production of the two brothers Florian Supancic (saxophone) and Fabian Supancic (piano) uses the framework of a radio show with the aim of assembling a collection of 20 compositions, improvisations, and musical vignettes into one large, eclectic, yet entertaining whole.
The duo format – on the one hand a limitation, on the other an intimate gateway to experimenting, expanding, fooling around, and of course, improvising.
