Using groove and soundscapes, this playful trio is always looking for freedom in improvisation.
The band HAARP was founded in 2021 by Andreas Erd (guitar). Complete with Federico Perinelli (bass) and Patrick Pillichshammer (drums), HAARP offers a diverse palette of influences like Jimi Hendrix's Band Of Gypsys, Squarepusher, as well as quite a few other artists within the contemporary jazz genre.
The concept of improvisation is at the forefront, for which the trio uses approaches that go beyond traditional methods of a "Power-Trio".
