Singer Patrizia Ferrara and guitarist Julian Eggenhofer are dedicated to the art of the duo, a
formation founded in 2024.
A musical format that is both challenging and liberating, yet in any case perhaps the most intimate
way of making music together.
What has emerged is a harmonious, shared whole that focuses both on interpretations of songs from
the American Songbook, as well as on Ferrara’s role as a lyricist in English and Italian, writing
lyrics for pieces from the repertoire of Django Reinhardt and Michel Petrucciani.
Original compositions within the program of Ferrara and Eggenhofer captivate through an intimate
and almost hypnotic closeness between the two.
