From “melancholic lost” to “hypnotic grooves and experiment”
The Graz-based duo, consisting of singer Eva Plankton and guitarist Peter Taucher, gained increasing attention throughout Austria last year during their release tour for the album “Devil On My Lips.” Not least because of their distinctive duo language — characterized by fragility, ethereal melancholy, driving beats, and experimentation — the duo impresses with high musical quality and penetrating stories in their original compositions.
Their musical foundation is pop, enriched with influences from genres such as jazz, soul, and rock. Through the use of loops and vocal layering, they create a powerful sonic experience, as if an entire band were performing on stage.
