Project Description
The heart of the project is a live band featuring vocals, guitar, bass, keys/flute, and drums. Higher Sound Species is an independent art collective that also involves producers, DJs, and visual artists, offering listeners the opportunity to immerse themselves in a dreamlike, ethereal world of rhythm and harmony. A central concept is the combination of “old” music styles (bebop, samba, reggae, psychedelic rock) with "new", electronic styles such as Dub, Jungle, DnB, (Ragga) Tekk, and Goatrance, as well as ambient and Chillout sounds in an free - impro conext. It is designed to stimulate audience both physically and mentally.
