Project Description
The two exceptional musicians have been performing together since 2014, until now mostly as part of a quartet featuring the trio mg3 with Tim Collins as a guest soloist. For the past five years, they have also been exploring the highly sensitive terrain of duo playing, performing numerous concerts both in Austria and abroad.
This most intimate form of musical communication is akin to walking a tightrope without a safety net. When the level of improvisation is as high as it is with Collins and Gasselsberger, it requires above all mutual trust, the utmost attentiveness, and the ability to respond spontaneously to one another.
