On his latest album, “New Doors” the internationally acclaimed Viennese jazz violinist Rudi Berger brings together the three worlds that have profoundly shaped him since his early beginnings. The Vienna–Brazil–New York axis has introduced the virtuoso to a wide range of musical collaborators, including the outstanding Brazilian guitarist Toninho Horta. Together with many others, they support Rudi Berger in both original compositions and well-known hits, delivering grooving rhythms, swinging harmonies, unpretentious virtuosity, and the utmost joy of playing.
