Project Description
WANTING MACHINE II is a project by guitarist and composer – PETER ROM – who has been a fixture in Vienna's musical scene for years. "I admire Kafka's literary world. Steps that grow upwards beneath rising feet, or the step one cannot climb because it is so high. Kafka's protagonists repeatedly find that they have completely misjudged a situation. The world seems fixed, but in reality, everything is uncertain, soft, malleable, and blurred. I have always wanted music to function on many levels. Like a hologram that you look at, then you see through it, and from another angle, everything looks completely different again."
