Album: IRIS

Vladimir Kostadinovic IRIS is more than a jazz band — it is a sonic portrait of life, love, and artistic transformation. The project is named after Vladimir's daughter, Iris, and her presence is woven into the music in the most intimate way. During his wife’s pregnancy, Vladimir recorded the heartbeat of his unborn daughter using his phone — a raw, personal, and powerful moment of connection. This recording later became the foundation for the composition “Iris.” Working closely with his producer, the heartbeat was transformed into a musical motif, serving as the intro and emotional core of the piece. It breathes with life — literally — and sets the tone for an entire project built on authenticity, vulnerability, and expression.
