Album: les couleurs du feu

Les couleurs du feu The r.s.q presents the third CD in its elemental series: Fire. In 2019, the composition Les couleurs du feu, commissioned by the Munich Symphony Orchestra for string quartet and large orchestra, premiered at the Herkulessaal in Munich to “great acclaim and thunderous applause” (Kreisbote Kempten). The Süddeutsche Zeitung wrote: “...the radio.string.quartet constructs a musical space in which delicate, melancholic structures are just as possible as thrilling sonic ecstasy.” As is customary, the members of the ensemble are also the composers and arrangers of their music. This musical depiction of the various colors of fire is thus a deeply personal narrative, spun by the r.s.q around this elemental theme.
