With LIFE, Emiliano Sampaio presents the most personal and mature statement of his big band writing to date. The compositions were written over several years and are documented for the first time in this form. Each piece opens a window into a different chapter of his life.

The album is released on the renowned ORF-Label as part of the Ö1 Jazz Contemporary series and features Sampaio’s most recent compositions for large jazz ensemble.
