Catchy compositions by the double pilots Fabian Rucker and Philipp Nykrin are setting the course on this album. Rucker and navigator Alois Eberl take up their roles as tour guides, at times in intense dialogue with each other, at times in long solo excursions. With unbridled joy of playing and virtuosity, Herbert Pirker the mechanic provides the horsepower necessary. Complemented by Nykrin's keyboard parts, Purple Muscle Car grooves in multifaceted ways: From vintage sounds to futuristic electronica – anything is possible. The release of this self-recorded and self-produced debut album on Rucker's label, Wave Breeder Records, marks the beginning of Purple Muscle Car's musical journey.
