TSOMBANIS4 stands for an immediate, energetic live experience between composition and free improvisation. With its unusual line-up of tenor saxophone, two double basses and drums, the quartet has developed a distinctive sound that truly comes to life in performance. Since its formation, TSOMBANIS4 has regularly performed on stages across Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Previous performances include concerts at Porgy & Bess Vienna, Stockwerk Graz and Donau115 Berlin, as well as festivals in Austria and Switzerland. The quartet has also been featured on radio, including Ö1 and BR-KLASSIK. In October 2026, TSOMBANIS4 will embark on another tour, with concerts in Vienna, Villach, Graz, Pohrsdorf and Berlin.
