Newcomer Resume

Paula Duschek is a viennese singer, composer and pianist who has made a name for herself in the diverse Austrian music scene. Influenced by her French heritage, she draws her creative impulses from the world of French chansons, while influences from artists such as Radiohead, Regina Spektor and the French singer Camille can also be felt in her compositions. Projects: a cappella + ensemble soulparlez, the Gypsy Jazz group Belle Affaire, the electro-pop project Tales of Water, and a jazz duo with guitarist Julian Eggenhofer—often joined by jazz bassist Alexander Lackner. Her work has taken her to stages such as the International A Cappella Festival in Leipzig and on tour through China with soulparlez, as well as to Porgy & Bess with Belle Affaire and Radiokulturhaus with Tales of Water.
