Newcomer: Elsa Steixner

Elsa creates an immediate sense of trust—almost hypnotic, making it impossible not to listen to her stories." – Samir Köck Born in 1998, Elsa Steixner now lives and works as a freelance musician in Vienna. Her path first took her to Leipzig, Tel Aviv, and Arnhem (NL) , where she studied jazz vocals at the ArtEZ Academy of the Arts from 2019 to 2023. With her project ELSA, she has since toured across Europe and released two albums. She has received the Austrian Start Stipendium as well as various (inter)national awards and grants. Highlights for 2025 include performances at the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Wiener Festwochen, and recordings at Abbey Road Studios in London
