Newcomer: Felix Biller

Felix Biller is the pianist, composer, and bandleader of the trio PRIM, who gained intl. acclaim with the albums Garnet Tales and Meridian Steps. PRIM was invited to the Central European Jazz Showcase and has been supported multiple times by the Musikfabrik Niederösterreich. As a finalist of the Austrian Composers Young Jazz Award 2022 with the composition “Demon Crazy?”, he explores distinct jazz idioms. Besides PRIM, he is the keyboardist of the band Lari + the Wolves, recently nominated for the “Sound@V 2025”. He has performed at festivals such as jazzahead! Bremen, Jazzwoche Burghausen, Nišville Jazz Festival, and at venues incl. Porgy & Bess, the Musikverein Wien, Jazzdock Prag or DDC Beijing. Additionally, he composes film music e.g. for the award-nominated film "Allesandersplatz".
