Newcomer: Nina Reiter

Nina Reiter is an Austrian jazz vocalist and composer who has been living and working in Switzerland for many years. Her work combines contemporary jazz and improvisation with an intensive exploration of text. A central part of her artistic work is the collective Phraim, founded in 2016, with which she has released four albums. In 2024, Reiter founded and directed the large ensemble project MetaLogue, dedicated to the work of Lucerne composer Mani Planzer and reinterpreting his musical legacy from a contemporary perspective. Her work spans original compositions, contemporary jazz, freer forms of improvisation, and an ongoing engagement with the jazz tradition.
