Newcomer: Max Plattner

In addition to his own projects - including PLOY, Max Plattner Trio & Fudge Summer - he has performed internationally with Animali Notturni, Euregio Jazz Collective, Insomnia Brass Band, David Helbock, Steph Kondert, Andrea Motis, Guido Spannochi and Karl Ritter Kombojaner. In 2012 he received the “Young Masters Scholarship” of the Outreach Festival in Schwaz, in 2013 the “Marianne Mendt Award”, & in 2016 the “Falco Prize” (with the pop formation “pm love explosion”). In 2020 he completed his studies at the ABPU (Linz). 2021 he received the TonArt Tirol Jazz Prize for the release “II” of the Max Plattner Trio. 2024 Max Plattner was selected by the Jazzfestival Saalfelden for the international project “Melting Pot”. His album “Ploy” was nominated for the Austrian Jazz Award 2024.
