Peter Lenz is a drummer, composer, and arranger originally from Austria. He holds a bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and master’s degrees in Performance Drums and Composition from Codarts University Rotterdam and Manhattan School of Music NYC. He leads the Peter Lenz Large Ensemble, and his quartet Lithium feat. Chris Speed, Keisuke Matsuno, and Stefan Lievestro performing his original music. As a drummer, he has performed with Trish Clowes, Reinier Baas, Oliver Mally, Karlheinz Miklin, Luis Bonilla, HGM Jazz Orchestra Zagreb, Jazz Orchester Steiermark, a.o. Albums as a leader on Skirl Records: Lithium (2016), E (2020), Breathe - Music for Large Ensembles (2024)
