Newcomer: Alexandra Ivanova

After her debut at the Reykjavik Jazz Festival in 2020, Alexandra Ivanova recorded her first album in Berlin in 2021. In 2022, she released a berta.berlin live set and toured Saudi Arabia with her trio. Her debut album “Beauty in Chaos” was released in 2023 in the series “Jazz thing Next Generation Vol. 99,” followed by a release tour through Germany, Austria (Unterfahrt, BIX, Zig Zag, Porgy & Bess, Austrian Soundcheck), and Egypt, where she opened the Cairo Jazz Festival 2023 with guest singer Lynn Adib. In 2024, she was artist in residence in Cuba, presented her album at the Havana Jazz Festival and as a showcase at jazzahead! This was followed by performances at the PENG Festival, l'Esprit du Piano Festival Bordeaux, residencies in BANFF (Canada) and MusicAmbassador (Indonesia).
