Newcomer Resume
The Viennese singer Amina Bouroyen studied jazz vocals in Vienna (MA; MUK). With her self-founded trio slowklang, she released the debut “Mindscapes” (JazzWerkstatt Records) in November 2024, was invited to Kick Jazz ‘24, and was selected for The New Austrian Sound of Music 25/26.
As a member of the a cappella band HALS, she released the debut “Free fall a cappella” in May 2025 and in June won an award at the Tampere Vocal Music Festival (FIN).
Further in 2025, she released recordings with the Vienna Composers Big Band and in May gave the live debut of her new duo with bassist Anna Reisigl at the hoerthoert Festival by Listen Closely. (EP in 09/25)
Performances on major stages include: Porgy & Bess, Carinthischer Sommer, Radiokulturhaus; as well as internationally (POL; SI; FIN; ALB; JOR).
