Newcomer: Max Kreuzer

Max Kreuzer was classically trained on the double bass until he started focussing on jazz when he was 15 years old. After visiting the music high school in Graz, he studied Jazz Double Bass with Morten Ramsbøl and IGP Jazz from 2017 thru 2025. He has been the artistic leader of folk.art festival in Graz since 2019, and is a board member of Styrian Klezmore. Apart from the double bass, Max Kreuzer also plays the electric bass, the tuba, and the hurdy-gurdy, and has been teaching at Musikschule Heiligenkreuz am Waasen since 2023.
