For many years, Lia Pale was primarily known as an interpreter of art song, with acclaimed reinterpretations of works by Schubert, Schumann, and Brahms. With Woman & I, she now takes the decisive step toward presenting exclusively original material for the first time. During a period of personal and artistic transition, she began writing songs as a way of rediscovering herself and redefining her artistic voice.
