Album: Woman & I

The songs took shape between Wels, Vienna, Amsterdam, and The Hague. Some parts were recorded in The Hague, while others were captured live on stage at Vienna’s Porgy & Bess together with Hue Blanes, Miloš Čolović, and Ingrid Oberkanins. Additional sonic layers, flute ensembles, backing vocals, and solo passages were later created in quiet solitude — built gradually, layer by layer. Musically, Lia Pale opens up new horizons. The voice that was once primarily devoted to interpretation now settles confidently into its own sound. The harmonic richness of jazz meets the clarity of reduced pop structures. Distinct melodic lines, generous space, and a voice that communicates with immediacy shape the sound of these songs.
