Avin Ahmadi & Lorenz Widauer

Avin Ahmadi and Lorenz Widauer first met as part of Hideout Records’ “Carte Blanche” project. The series brings together artists who have never previously worked together and invites them to collaboratively produce an album. Rooted in jazz and Persian influences, the music carries the intimacy of chamber music while unfolding through fragments, melodies, and improvisations. Lorenz Widauer and Avin Ahmadi demonstrate the new musical spaces that can emerge from curiosity, trust, and artistic openness.
