The music of the internationally formed Quispel Quintet unfolds like the novels of Dutch author A. F. Th. van der Heijden. His characters, themes, and storylines served as inspiration for five instrumentalists who came together in Vienna. Their adventurous compositions and improvisations follow an unpredictable narrative arc, moving effortlessly through the landscapes of Cool Jazz and the depths of avant-garde chamber music.
