Album: THE BEAUTY IN BETWEEN

As on her debut solo album “Brothers” (released in 2021 and nominated for both the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards and the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik), personal experiences also serve as the starting point for the compositions on cellist S.A.’s second solo album, “THE BEAUTY IN BETWEEN.” Through her instrument, she explores uncharted paths marked by quiet yet transformative explosions—gently breaking open musical pigeonholes and stereotypes while expanding the boundaries of genre. “THE BEAUTY IN BETWEEN” is an ode to the power of the spaces in between, to the infinite facets of the androgynous and the undefinable. At once a musical, personal, and socio-political statement, the album celebrates the beauty of diversity—beyond divisions, borders, and exclusion.
