Album: Nina Feldgrill

With her self-titled album, bassist Nina Feldgrill presents three distinct ensembles, each with its own stylistic focus, reflecting her diverse musical preferences: Featured are her modern jazz quartet “river,” founded in 2022, “Wind’s Whispers,” a young project led by vocalist Saba Robatjazy that blends jazz, Eastern folk, pop, and electronic sounds, and the ensemble “Feldgrill²,” in which Nina’s father, Werner Feldgrill, is featured also on bass and as a composer. The recordings were made as part of the Ö1 Jazz Scholarship. The album received international attention and was featured by broadcasting networks such as SWR Kultur (Germany), Blue in Green Radio (UK), and BRF1 (Belgium).
