Alan Bartus has developed an extensive international career as a pianist, composer and bandleader, performing at renowned venues and festivals across Europe and the USA. Highlights in the USA include Alice Tully Hall, PAC NYC for the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz International Piano Competition, Austrian Cultural Forum New York, Smalls Jazz Club, Minton’s Playhouse and Ornithology Jazz Club. In Austria, he has appeared at ORF RadioKulturhaus, Porgy & Bess Vienna, Kulturhaus Poysdorf, Musikpavillon Linz, International Music Festival Zell am See and Konzerthaus Klagenfurt. Festival appearances include Bratislava Jazz Days (SK), One Day Jazz Festival (SK), Novi Sad Jazz Festival (SRB), Jazz nad Odra (PL), Müpa Budapest Jazz Showcase (HU) and Langnau Jazz Nights (CH).
