Alois Eberl (born in 1986 in Kitzbühel) is an Austrian trombonist, accordionist, and composer who works primarily in jazz but also in classical music. Together with his partner, cellist, pianist, and composer Anna Lang, he founded the duo Sinfonia de Carnaval. In 2021, he also founded the quartet Alpha Trianguli together with Florian Klinger, Philipp Kienberger, and Jakob Kammerer. He has also collaborated musically with Ray Anderson, James Morrison, Bob Mintzer, Michel Camilo, Wycliffe Gordon, Chuck Findley, the Duke Ellington Orchestra, Mark Turner, Dave Taylor, Wynton Marsalis, Dave Liebman, Thomas Gansch, Manu Delago, and Wynton Marsalis, to name just a few. Alois was awarded the City of Innsbruck Jazz Prize in 2022.
